I watched a couple of HBomberGuy videos and honestly I start to find this kind of entertainment more and more disgusting and revolting over time

I once noticed that the right-leaning media always has this snarky, almost comedic attitude towards subject matter, like "Haha, fucking feminazi leftists, epic fail", but as I distanced from that, and entered the left-leaning media, it's the same fucking shit mostly.

How deep down have we gone that we treat subjects of freedoms and liberties, securities and insecurities, bigotry and tolerance as some sort of game'ey show where you're glued to the screen watching yet another snarky youtuber make a snarky smile and say "Muh %insert-your-side%, amirite?" while some people are actually trying to fight for these issues. But it's all just comedy show now. There's no real critique or debate happening, there's just constant belitteling competition.

If you have something factual to say that might empower someone or make someone's lives better, do not treat it as a weapon for shit-slingling or reactonary snarkyness, lest it become THE joke.Just say it.

@Deiru That's called a society of entertainment.A "société de spectacle" as french philosopher Louis Debord called it.A society where what is said is secondary, a mere tool for more distraction. Politics and social issues become yet another entertainment.
