       Current desktop Arch setup's going wellwell, except for this.Pointers, anyone? Prereqs are all installed, using -ck and its respective NVIDIA pkgs.

       @shmibs Not sure how that's the case when this is direct from the Repos.Forcing Steam to redownload the files it wants (by removing both ~/.steam and ~/.local/share/Steam) ends the exact same way.

       @SeongGino well, i've just installed the thing in a vm and it worked fine there. got that same message, so it seems unrelatedseems pretty garbage software all around though, pulling in a giant pile of 32 bit libs and failing on any locale other than en_US.UTF-8, so i'd bet on it being some bug in the client thing itself
