There’s been so much discussion lately about acceptable ways to protest. I find nothing more discouraging. What are acceptable ways to protest—when your loved ones are threatened? When our fascist government is actively traumatizing and killing people? When white nationalists are in your backyard?

@rebeccaheckyea Going and assulting people over a opinion is wrong, freedom of assembly is still a thing. Peaceful protests work or make a impact. (2018 UK anti goverment free speech protests) (US Cival Rights Movement) (Northern Ireland Peace Movement) Violent fascist groups like the alt right and antifa are ignored as they use violence and should be ignored and punished

Just to clarify, our policy is to de-escalate any violent encounter, with the exception of instances in which Antifa discovers a group of americans attempting exercise their right to free speech.
