       @teto when talking in moderated spaces learning how to fight back in this gay passive voice state space is about the only allowed form of argumentation so it is a useful skill to have, like playing a game or learning a new language. It is a language incapable of contesting space for 90% of its users so if you can get in with that world weary fake neutral sigh first most are flummoxed.

       Fallout 1 and 2 are extremely simple and straightforward games and both are extremely easy to break and trivialize. There is no great challenge in any of them and in Fallout 1 you stand more of a chance of being trapped and softlocked behind an AI companion you cannot ask to move than you do actually dying.Great fun though and classics for a reason but they are not unapproachable at all.

       I would forgive Bethesda SLIGHTLY for this as by Fallout 2 it seemed like they were in a rush to put as many movie references they could in the game. It is not a setting I would accuse of great levels of coherence. Bethesda definitely took it in a very different direction though and certainly did not increase the level of coherence.
