@jeffcliff The medical industry is chock full of morons and radicals, and modern medical media like The Pitt is rife with built in excuses for intentional medical abuse of patients under the basis that they are White and a little rude when undergoing the most traumatic experience of their life. The whole industry is a nightmare.Let's also not forget how they knowingly pushed oxycontin onto an unsuspecting public, despite knowing full well it was addictive, many laughed at how many "dumb hicks" they were addling with drug addictions

@jeffcliff Modern Maternity care, to go back to your strawman argument for a second, is designed from the ground up to make labor and delivery as difficult and riddled with complications as possible so they can upcharge with unnecessary medical interventions to max out the copay, shackling patient's with massive medical debt for a procedure that was literal done safely on dirt floors for next to free for thousands of years.And don't shill socialized medicine, I've read hundreds of horror stories from NHS maternity wards that make the US medical industry sound downright angelic.

@Shadowman311 medical assisted suicide should be the #1 cause of death -- that would be ideal. Only having people die when they choose to is a perfect ideal of human longevity that we are nowhere near -- more likely right now the people dying from MAID are dying *because they have terminal cancer or other illness making life nothing but pain*.
