We are reaching a point where cutscenes in video games will teach 70, maybe 80+ percent of the story and they will be locked behind paid dlc. You can play the game but you will have to read notes, listen to audio clips. The guys who paid 300$ for the 50$ AAAAAAA game will be the only ones who will get to "enjoy" the whole story. You'll have to struggle through it if you even can. There's nothing you can do about it, either. You can't even afford the RAM or GPU required to render the cutscenes anyway. @Sui @Shadowman311 They've already done this. Look at telltale games and the walking dead for example. Or "don't nod" responsible for life is strange series. Episodic games already exist. You have to expect "AAA" developers are going to start selling the base game for 89.99 and each branch of quest lines for 30$+ with unlimited quests based on it all being dlc. That is the end of gaming. And it's right around the corner
