@teto@cawfee.club The point of sanctions and actions like that is to make the war not worth it, we already are seeing this with Greenland, the sanctions are not just for show.Noone has faith in a head on collision with the US so the best thing we can do is make it such a hassle that the cons outweigh the pros and then hopefully they change their minds.This is something that could work with a "democracy" like the US which is why i think its being applied there, This also works well on countries that are integrated in the world trade or are dependant on it.Look at China's exports vs imports and which sectors they import from then compare that to example their Agricultural output and arable land.The are dependant on the world trade or they starve thats why they have not been super into the Russia war because of the sanctions they could be hit with.This would NOT work on a country like North Korea because they are almost completely isolated from the world trade, Trading most of their shells for food with china
