It comes off as extremely childish and jewish to try and link modern Dutch ID laws back to the Nazis as if there hasn't been multiple system changes in the Netherlands over the 80 years since occupation. Furthermore plenty of other Western European countries have introduced them since and it did not somehow require some nazi super villain plot to arrive there.

While there is some truth to this, what would stop the ruling class from abolishing such a construct if it did not serve their needs?
