       @CapitalB I mean how a website works. As in, that it runs on linux for example. And mostly downloads what you see from there "into" the browser.

       @teto reallyMy parents have made websites with Frontpage+filezilla back in the day and registered domains für their cooking/church/sewing club etc.Hence my year question. At some point it should be vaguely clear to everybody how the Internet works, or not?!

       @CapitalB my mom had to update her CV lately and she forgot how to use a file explorer. Because she was only using android and smartTVs for 5 years. She works as a security guard.

       @CapitalB whenever my mother visits me and looks at my computer screen during work she just says "wow how doesnt all this text make you dizzy" and then goes back to the kitchen where she belongs

       @CapitalB I wasnt even posting about my family here. Everyone is like this. Most people are like my mother. Not like me or you or your parents. Tech in europe is mostly a joke. Germans mostly work in factories and sales. Not IT.
