       The more I play card games, the more that I see why magic the gathering and Pokémon are so big even compared to local Argentinian games. I have seen quite few of them but I already see the problems in each of them. Argentinian games are either:- Ai slop- Overly complex, full of naked women, only gooners play it (?)- Uses dice as a way of deciding battles (????)No comment on ai slop.The gooner game has playing sessions every seven centuries on a place 7 hours away from civilization.And at first I thought the idea of dice to play was cool but the randomness that it brings into the game is too high, you can have the smartest strategy but the dice can fuck you up and die in the third turn just because "luck was bad", it's not even comparable to when you draw cards on other games.

       @waifu@mai.waifuism.life i am a competitive yugioh player and that's the only kind of yugioh anyone can really play anymore. there's not really such thing as a "casual" game anymore because of how the game works sadly. I have a 2014 deck too though because 2014 format of the game was back when it still felt casual and fun.

       @originalboy2@possum.city yeah that's why people recommended me commander and I gotta say it's quite the treat to play with more people casually and just have fun, those are the games I like the most to be honest. Unless it's chess then you either love it or hope it dies
