hmmm. getting "This site can’t provide a secure connectionwww.truckdriver.social sent an invalid response.ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"on my site. Can't figure out where to install SSL certs on BTRF.LY. Any BTRF.LY users have any advice?

@TruckDriver their site doesn't even indicate what software they are using as a web server.but since that's a "everything in the box" hosting service, I'd expect it to be handled automatically. ??

@IceCubeSoup @TruckDriver Unfortunately, right now, it looks like you have a DNS loop...truckdriver.social is a CNAME for www.truckdriver.social(and vice versa) so neither name resolves to an IP address.

@IceCubeSoup @TruckDriver using the "host" command on my terminal gives me the following output % host truckdriver.socialtruckdriver.social is an alias for www.truckdriver.social.www.truckdriver.social is an alias for truckdriver.social....repeats another 30 or so times...truckdriver.social is an alias for www.truckdriver.social.www.truckdriver.social is an alias for truckdriver.social.%

@TruckDriver @IceCubeSoup It'll take a bit before the bad entries cache out across the DNS I have about 1400 seconds before I'll be able to rely on DNS to get to your site.

@TruckDriver lol, no biggie. did you buy the domain (aka, the name truckdriver.social) from the same place that's supposed to host it (sounds like btrfly or whatever - i know nothing about them)?

@fry No. bought it from NameCheap. then used DNS to point it at BTRF.LY

@TruckDriver ok, gotcha. well that's good! i've always had good dealings with namecheap... i'm sure ppl have varying opinions... i for one could do without their virtue signaling regarding the ukraine war.

@TruckDriver yeah. so i can't get curl to connect, but firefox loads the site just fine. there may be some sort of misconfiguration on the btrf.ly side...
