       Americans scream the Soviet Union was a huge success and the government should ban styrofoam because customers would be happy to return to restaurants and return their ceramic plates after they use the drive-thru and finish their meals.

       @freepatriot My parents owned some cups and said restaurants used to give you cups they let you keep that were so high quality you could use them for years.  Might have been made out of plastic instead of throw away materials

       @ThewTheKooky @DMA @freepatriot @shortstories They owned them back in 1980 too, I used to work at one. I did the ordering for the place I worked at and at the time the food service was called Pepsico food service or so, then I think they spun it off and it is McLain Foods now.
