In lieu of an introduction, here's a quote from the glossary of Russel Hoban's very strange, wonderful book _Riddley Walker_. The novel is written in a degraded, post-apocalyptic, largely phonetic yet poetic English. In later editions, the author added a glossary to explain some of the invented names, words and phrases. I stole my current display name from this book. This is what the writer says:___wud: Means wood as in forest; also 'would,' intention, volition or desire. The hart of the wud is where Eusa saw the stag who was the hart of the wud. The heart of the would is also the essence of one's wanting, the heart of one's deepest desire. The crypt in Canterbury Cathedral with its stone trees is the spiritual hart of the wud.---Ref: http://www.errorbar.net/rw/

Afterward, there will be an open session with recycled devices to check out and advice for anyone looking to repurpose an old laptop or phone. Maybe we should stop calling them *Notifications* and instead refer to *Interruptions*."Working on some stuff so I've turned off interruptions for a while.""Right on."

@mntmn You could look at git-annex or git-lfs. They do suffer from some of the general awkwardness and complexity of git.rsync if you pull, then push should work ok but you may get some unhappy results if you delete or overwrite a file on on node and expect it to exist on the other node. In that case, the last push to the server will win. Something that does snapshots on the server might help, while keeping the complexity lower. Otherwise, you'll need something akin to git to deal with those conflicts.

@darktable Do you mean accepting chat bot-assisted code? Or are you thinking of adding a chat-based image generator so I can avoid getting off the sofa and straining myself taking actual photos with my camera? The word "AI" is kind of a skunked term. A large portion of the image processing operations in there already were, at various points in time, categorized as "AI".
