Waiting for its name label and a short turn in the washing machine, but I consider this quilt finished!Meet "Stukkie-Bij", the quilt I started on my first sewing machine towards the end of 2024 and finished this week on my (new) current sewing machine. @_elena Agree! I try not to boost any posts where there is not ALT text for the images/photos, and I have unfollowed people who seem to refuse adding ALT text while they do use a large amount of tags.

❤️ My mother gave me this sampler made by my great-grandmother (matrilineal line) when she was eleven, back in 1899. Only about one year later left school to serve as a maid for a doctor's household in The Hague.Looking at this sampler, there are various ways to repair linen fabrics on show here.
