What I dislike most about #cancelculture is the fact that the people doing it know the power of boycotting, but they mostly use it to #boycott what people say or believe in.Governments and #BigTech are destroying privacy, a critical pillar of democracy, with the goal of doing the same thing that cancel culture is about. That is, controlling what people are allowed to say (dissent/freedom of speech) and controlling what people believe in (culture/family).#GetUncomfortable #MakeItPersonal

@gleb Wow! I already have your hard-surface course, and I am happy it is included as one of the top courses. @Blender I love this initiative, but I dislike that you guys are starting with Apple. Most people in the world use Windows and Android, and I'm sure that most Blender users use Windows and almost sure that they also use Android. Why start on the least used platform that is notorious for being restrictive with their app store? 😕 🥴 Anyway, I'll get my Blender on my Android tablet eventually, so thanks for starting this. The mockups look reasonable so far. 👍 😅

You are being part of the problem when you do that.Instead, say, “Governments and corporate entities are working to make surveillance the new normal” or “Governments and corporate entities are working to eliminate privacy through surveillance”.Your initial statement is a buzzword for defeatists and those trying to kill privacy.

@Tutanota This is not a European-only problem. It is a global issue. It would take almost no time for them to move from that to banning software not connected to a cloud service, which is further connected to a digital ID of sorts.This means Linux would become illegal in its current state, plus LibreOffice, OnlyOffice, Blender, etc.This is an attack on global freedom.

This is a somewhat (or even mostly) useless list. It just filters AI "features" and websites from search engine results. It does nothing for the sites you use every day, like social media and news, that are littered with AI content.If you use the same search engine, and you generally don't visit random sites on a regular basis, especially obvious AI ones, then this list will do pretty much nothing for your browsing experience.
