@dansup People doubt whatever they want to and believe anything they want to. Stand to your statements, that should be good enough. I don't think that you need to prove to anyone every time that you are truly interested in contributing to a free and open world. In my eyes accepting funding in itself wouldn't be bad as long as it doesn't influence you in any way. If it starts to conflict with privacy needs or with the soul of OSS, then that would be really a problem.

@Tutanota I also think that we don't need this. I'm not really using the contacts anyway. Just the option of known addresses is already enough for me. Keeping these things separate, should be optimal. Don't even think about a login option via a Google account or anything else like that. Comfort almost always introduces privacy and security risks.

@Tutanota Why don't you add a poll option for Mastodon and "none". I think you might get better results like that.😇

@Tutanota DuckDuckGo everywhere. Fennec on android, Firefox on Linux and at work Chrome. All of them using DDG as the default search.Sometimes I try a search on Google too, but seldom. I just wished that map search would be better. I'm still often using maps.google.xxx.OSM maps are often not up to date too...
