Finally got a round tuit, so here's my #Intro... She/they, #trans-inactivist, got a day job writing #Java and #Groovy, payin' down that technical debt; the better half of me is #Irish, but stuck in that backward conservative country on the other side of the sea. So #remain I think we should raise Doggerland. Tragically between cats right now. I ought to do something about that...

@libreoffice er, that seems to have introduced a bug: When typing new text at the end of a paragraph that's fully-justified, when the text crosses over the halfway point along the line, it keeps trying to justify the (incomplete, last) line on typing each space.Excuse typing errors, it's really made me self-conscious how frequent they are, but...

@gcluley i see it as downstream of their general view of the world as something that can't be changed and can only be accommodated. which is to say, fundamentally conservative, and frankly not what the labour party was for.

@MichaelWhelan i tend to prefer this *kind* of cover. maybe because i'm british? i noticed years ago (don't know if still true) that british SF/F covers tended to be more symbolic or metaphorical and american ones were like a still from the nonexistent movie version. don't know if that reflected a geographical cultural difference, or if it still exists?
