@andycarolan yup. Whenever I read reports in the past about billionaires building bunkers in Hawaii and New Zealand I thought it was for environmental reasons or in case of nuclear war. Now I'm beginning to think it's for self-defense when people will be completely fed up with their antics and looking for a revolution

@andycarolan @gedeonm a story along these lines is the plot of Naomi Alderman's The Future (https://bookshop.org/p/books/the-future-naomi-alderman/fd5dab350ba45254). I love her books, enjoyed this a little less than the others EXCEPT for what happened at the end of the book to the tech CEOs and the ramifications for all humans.Reminder to self: re-read the last chapter tonight
