Discontinuation of ARM Notebook with Snapdragon X Elite SoCAt this point, we are putting the project on hold. There are several reasons for this.https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/Discontinuation-of-ARM-notebooks-with-Snapdragon-X-Elite-SoC.tuxedo#tuxedo #linux #arm #snapdragon

@tuxedocomputers very sad 😞. I was waiting to buy the device. WellSo be it. I may get another Tuxedo or something based on a RPI CM5. My aging Macbook needs replacement.

@tuxedocomputers it's a bit sad, but a lot of the non x86/amd64 (maybe we could include the PowerPC too), have always been quite experimental and limited in what they can do, so didn't really put much faith in the X1E or X2E... we may see something more limited running on it like cheap chrome based laptops which people don't expect anything else than a handful apps can run...

@tuxedocomputers So sad, but thanks a lot for your effort - especially @gg Fingers crossed that we'll have a more open ARM SoC at some time. :winkekatze:

@tuxedocomputers Too bad, I was really eager to get hands on this one :(Let's hope the X2E has better chances of becoming an actual product.
