       @fdroidorg I agree, but where do you think many instances are hosted? p2p is the best solution, but only if nodes are not all I hosted centrally.

       @fdroidorg You sound a bit rude (implying I'm ignorant - take a look at my profile). I did not mean to offend.FYI I built FOSS that enables publishing of websites to a p2p network that can be displayed in a standard browser once you have downloaded a simple app. Try it, you might learn something 😉  I love and support FDroid BTW.

       @happyborg The phrase "Do your own research" implies finding out where a certain service is hosted and judging by that, eg. If it's on AWS and you don't like Bezos, you'll decide to skip. It did not imply anything about anyone.
