#Kenyans applying for a U.S. Visa must now disclose all social media usernames used in the last 5 years.The U.S. Embassy says failure to provide this information could lead to visa denial or future ineligibility.

@JonathanMBR So, if someone didn't ever have social media, or deleted their social media profiles more than 5 years ago, does it mean a visa denial or future ineligibility, or worse?Can a government (Usonian government in this case) force anyone to have social media profiles just to be able to enter a country?

@JonathanMBR It's not only Kenyans, it's many countries. Even Canadians are subject to a social media search just for visiting the US, and we used to freely move back and forth across the border to shop, visit friends and go on vacation. Now the US is arresting or turning away those who once were their best friends .
