@organicmaps A radio button to include/exclude footpaths and bridleways would be amazing. I have actually been considering building a website with these for my own usage.

@organicmaps Would this be differentiating these types of routes on the map rendering? Or making marked trails that are in OSM as relations viewable/downloadable. The latter is a feature #Osmand has.

@organicmaps having cafes, bike shops, grocery stores and water sources clearly visible in bike mode would be great. Also, displaying trail category, if such data is available is nice. Being able to choose a bike type you have would also be a good feature. E.g. routes for a road racing bike and for a chunky MTB can be very different

@organicmaps it would be great to have a visible marker of paths to avoid on bicycle - bad intersections, horrible bike lanes or no lanes at all, otherwise difficult terrain to be skipped

@organicmaps important to me is keep hiking traces the same color they are marked IRL. In my country we have tourist tracks marked mainly by color and for orientation it is great to have blue trace drawn in blue 🙂Also I would like to see map slightly washed out and trails marked with vibrant colors so they pop out at firs glance.

@organicmaps I went on a ~28km bike hike a while ago. Purposefully choose Organic Maps instead of Google Maps to save batterie. Started at 100%, got the 20%-Warning after half the distance. No other apps running and normally I do not have batterie issues. For me this needs to be fixed before any fancy UX/UI.

@organicmaps Mixed-mode routing that let's you pick the modes would be nice. Eg, to get to my dentist by public transit and walking, it's best to take the trolley to a stop that has a connection to a bus line that gets near the dentist. But if I'm bringing my bike, it's better to get off at a trolley stop that doesn't have a good bus route connection, but it's closer and there are bike lanes all the way to the dentist.

@organicmaps, what would be best in my opinion (according to my own use) is level lines spaced 10m apart. Mapy.com, based on OSM as well, provides that feature.Thanks in advance.

@organicmaps A great tool would be to differenciate between "safe bike lines" and not-so-safe ones. That is, lines really separated from the cars lines and the ones that are jute paintings on the road.

@organicmaps routing should have preference for quiet streets (ex. 30 kmh speed limit) if separated bike infrastructure is not available. Also, different profiles for cycling such as fast or safe routes would be useful.

@Connz 100%! It looks like a bug though. Can you please provide more details? iOS or Android? Which device/OS version? Which app version? How many hours? Was flight mode active? Which route? Was cycling navigation mode active? Was track recording active? Was the map always visible? Did you check the battery stats at the end and saw that OM was the main battery consumer, and not something else?

@organicmaps This sounds like I need to run another test ride! :DThings I can answer now: iOS 18.3.2, iPhone XS, OM 2025.06.12-2 (80% sure), maybe 1h into the ride, no flight mode, Bielefeld to Lemgo (Germany), cycling nav on, no track recording, map always visible.I did not check what really consumed my battery, as I was kind of in the middle of nowhere and wanted to save remaining battery for emergencies. m)

@organicmaps I need to be able to use different speeds. Like google says you need an hour but that is only for fit young sporty people. Please let me chose a slow setting that will calculate expected travel times better.(Komoot does this for fitness level, bike citizen let's you chose between fast - which is usually shortest, easy - which should be named scenic - and mixed, which kind of combines the two)
