       @MichaelWhelan I now have all these possible meanings whirling in my head; does the dodo stand for extinction, or for impossible hope? Is the dangling apple a symbol of perilous temptation? Or is it just a whimsey? (No, it isn't just a whimsey, this is you after all.)

       @MichaelWhelan I used to be a bridge inspector, and have spent a lot of time staring at various parts of bridges. Your detail on the bridge components is wonderful.(And I really like the rest of the painting as well 😊  )
