I'm watching back the Fediverse promo video as for the first time it's 95% complete.I like it but I can't help projecting criticism from people with pedantic tendencies. The actual content is less than 4 minutes long but it took me 30 days of full time (unpaid) work to get here.Please do know I put all my love for the fediverse in it. I hope you'll like it (imperfections and all) and you'll be gentle with feedback. I really love this place 🥲

@_elena Would it help calm your nerves to do a private pre-screening with a trusted circle of Fediverse-knowledgeable folks who might catch any glaring errors/omissions and give gentle feedback, providing an opportunity to remedy issues before things are 100% public?

@_elena „pedantic tendencies“ ist a very diplomatic phrase. 😉 I‘m excited to see your work and it sure will be a good promo for the Fediverse. You put your heart and soul — and weeks(!) of work — into it, so of course this passion will show in the video. As for the people with „pedantic tendencies“: when they release a video that‘s better, they have a point. Otherwise, they should be gentle and constructive or shut up. 😎
