Is there a (Debian packaged ideally) software to do OCR live on the webcam on Linux, like qtqr / zbarcam does for barcodes?I guess I could pipe some frame grabber to tesseract…Edit: I'll have to try with a better webcam but this seems to work:fswebcam --no-info --no-timestamp -d /dev/video2 - | tesseract - -cc @climagic @siltaer

@mmu_man @siltaer That's cool that you can use tesseract in real time like hat. I've used it on images before with good results.

@mmu_man @siltaer You might also use the -q option with fswebcam and put it in a while true loop, but it depends on what you want to do.
