So are hipsters using Plan 9 or derivatives? Can someone please explain the use case beyond this? This is a real question, not being facetious. #plan9 #9front #plan9front

I use Plan 9 every day, but I'm not a hipster. I'm not sure what sort of response you're looking for. The use case is "using a computer"

@khm apologies for not explaining my question better. It doesn't seem like a traditional desktop operating system, so I would not think it lends itself to use in such a way. Which is why I was asking, forgive the ignorance.

I talk to friends on irc and activitypub, read stuff on the web, send and receive email, play music, read ebooks, watch movies, etc. Typical computer stuff.I like it because it's simple and consistent -- I do systems administration for a living, so it's a nice break from the overengineered garbage in other operating systems.
