       @Tutanota which of those are capable of interoperating? Because if we don't solve that, we'll be pretty much alone in our little nichesque messenger apps. For now, American or not, I have to stick with @signalapp app... it was hard enough convincing my family and friends to use it.

       @Tutanota Yes, Signal is US based, but still very much a good alternative for WhatsApp and Messenger.Threema works perfect.My experience with Wire was that the app just lost contact with the network... Properly!The others no experience yet.
