Due to various neurospicies, I have a very hard time reading and absorbing large bodies of formal text (like the OSA). Is anyone able to provide me with a very simple list of things I need to do on .art *right now* befor the March-something-deadline, f.e. I think I need to list a contact person on our /about page?We DO allow things like pornographic art on here so I think I also need to look into some kind of age verification tool, but maybe the deadline for that is June?#OnlineSafetyAct

I have gone through their online toolkit assessment thing and recommended safety measures - we have all of the moderation requirements in place and active obviously just through being on Mastodon with its inbuilt report procedure and appeals process. I think I need to put something specific in our ToS about how we handle reports? And otherwise just state myself as the person to contact - not sure what else if anything I need to do

@welshpixie I think you might also need someone to do a child risk assessment, and potentially have a link on the Dot Art blog or somewhere that people can read it?(I've been reading the act for other reasons -- I think you only need age verification if you're serving non-user generated content, but please don't take my word for it!)

@welshpixie that’s a good point. I run a local community group on Discord and I didn’t consider that we might need to do anything.

@welshpixie We've done this recently for phpc.social and our stuff is at https://github.com/derickr/online-safety-assessments/blob/main/mastodon-phpc.social.rst
