       @dansup I have 2 main rules for my smarthome :1) Fully local and privacy oriented tech (if I want to interact with it from outside I Wireguard)2) Must be “dumbifiable” at any time by pulling the plug of the smarthub while keeping basic functions w/ good old buttons.

       @dansup Absolutely.Great idea in theory. Crap in practice.We've tried our best to pick devices for our house that are high quality, but there seems to be hardly anything between "cheap chinese shit" and "apartment-block-level devices" that cost thousands.
