People were just grousing about this a few days ago on here "could we please have the old redbox machines... for hacking and fun?" and "I bet they do a terrible job storing personal data" then "hope we get to see a cool presentation at the next defcon."aaaand.... here it is.

@eff @arstechnica GDPR in EU regulates this (though I think it’s not really fully enforced, but risking a GDPR fine is not something one wants)
