"Tacking Escher as a starting piont for defining a VR world
is wrong here are two resons why."

Unfortunately I have to agree about the rather arrogant assertion that
someones heartfelt inspiration can ever be wrong. We are discussing
aesthetics in a very pragmatic zone of operation, and it is Just this kind
didactic stomping on unusual threads of possibility which is going to close
out the qualities of openess, flexibility and contagious enthusiasm which
characterise the operating mode of artists. I happen to dislike Escher at a
purely visual level ( i loved his work as a kid,) but I have immense
respect for his ability to translate rather difficult concepts into highly
engaging visual representations, Isnt that what we are trying to do ?
See ya Mart.
