Greetings all,
I hate to put a damper on all this free thought, but can we get back to
VR-art. I think we should create an artform that is all our own, whether that
form has aspects of surrealism, cubism, or any other isms is purely up to the
creator of the art piece. I like Escher, and I'll continue to be influenced
by his work. I am not as familiar with Dali, but I have explored the internet
sites about his work and I don't think I like it as much. We could split up
and have a couple of group working on different sections of a 'peice'. After
looking at one of my books on Escher, I think it might be possible to
represent an Escher space more convincingly if the space was viewed through a
fish-eye lens--perhaps someone could generate an algorithm to transform a
picture to represent visualization through this type of lens. I know that
this is possible for bmps etc. (Corel Draw), but I'm not sure how it could be
done in real time. Just an idea.
By the way, has anybody tried World's Chat. Pretty interesting.
