Having visited quite a few different cultural galleries this
weekend, I can say that I like art from different cultures. It gives me
a look into another way of thinking. That said, it is always nice when
they translate the text on the work on the card next to it. I don't
think that art, like typical information, needs to be culturally
sanitized for the masses. It is up to the individual artist (and
possibly gallery owner, virtual or otherwise) to decide how they want to
present the art.
