   *******HACKING HOWNET***************

From Telenet, type C 203130 to get to HOWNET. Once there, you
will be given a list of mainframes to log onto, you can try some
and see what they are but keep reading for the good part.
Anyhow, try the NEC3 or NEC12, presumably NEC dialers, 300 and
1200 baud. Once you get a successful connection, press C/R twice
and it should give you a '#' prompt, if not, try the other.

If the '#' prompt does come up, type 'D' with no carriage
return! It should print after a small wait. Under the directory
should be some number and some garbage. The number is the NEC
address to a mainframe and the garbage is the poor fool who
posted the directory's password.

Once the '#' prompt appears again, type 'M' for memory dial
along with a number 1-12 from the directory. (NO C/R) The NEC
should then dial to the address and connect. Next you will have
to enter the username or whatever according to the 'garbage.'
You will have to figure out which part of the garbage is the PW,
username, etc.

If memory dial doesn't work, type 'K' for keyboard dial and
then the address, such as 4950, etc. not the 1-12. If you do
this right, you will get onto some sort of system...

                      That's it.
