UBUNTU 8.10 INTREPID IBEX

Comme toujours, une superbe distribution. Et comme toujours, quelques bugs
de jeunesse.

1. Problème avec GRUB: lors du boot, message "gave up waiting for root
device", puis je tombe sur un shell. Le problème est connu [
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/290153 ], et vient du
driver qui gère le disque dur serial-ATA. Workarround: ajouter
"rootdelay=90" à la ligne "# defoptions=quiet splash", et lancer un "sudo
update-grub"

2. Bug dans Synaptic: la recherche, ainsi que la recherche rapide, ne
fonctionnent pas correctement. Des paquets ne sont pas affichés. Problème
également connu [
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/synaptic/+bug/288797 ].
Workarround: "sudo update-apt-xapian-index"

Notez aussi que Openoffice 3.0 n'est pas fourni avec la distribution.
