Today, in a mere eight hours, begins the five year anniversary party of
AsylumLAN [ http://www.asylumlan.com ], the LAN party that I formerly was
affiliated with. I was rummaging through my things while packing them for
transport and found that the last time I had attended one of their events
was back at their three-year anniversary, which I'm pretty sure is where I
gave out the super-amazing Console Video Game Trophy Award [ /node/196
](tm).

I do worry a bit that I don't have/don't want the games that all the Cool
Kids(tm) are playing these days (a trip to EB may be in order), but how
often does something I have a hand in starting make it all the way to its
five-year [ http://whois.domaintools.com/crummysocks.com ] anniversary
anyway?
