LIST OF FILES:

This is the Main Menu for OLT/32. This file must be in the door
directory.

Online Trivia Question Database.Data

The questions database file for OLT/32. DO NOT edit this file. A
datatbase compiler is provided for registering sysops. This file
must be in the door directory.

Online Trivia.Config

This is the configuration file. You must edit this file to suit
your particular BBS. See the SETUP section for details on configuring
this file. This file must be in the door directory.

Online Trivia.Wcx

The executable. This file must be in the WC5 root directory.

SysOp.TXT

	This file.

Welcome.BBS

The welcome screen for the door. This file must be in the door
directory.

OLT_Help.Zip

This is the file that the user downloads when the "D" option is
selected from the Main Menu. This file must be in the door directory.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SETUP:

The OLT_13.ZIP must be unarchived with a program that can handle
long file names (LFN). Failure to do so will truncate the filenames and
they must be renamed before OLT/32(c) will function.

Create a directory to hold the files in the OLT_13.ZIP archive.

UnZIP the contents of the OLT_13.ZIP to this directory. Move the
"Online Trivia.Wcx" to the Wildcat!5 root directory.

Edit the "Online Trivia.Config" file for your particular BBS setup.
The Configuration file contains 5 lines. All five lines must be
present. You may leave the line descriptions in the file as the door
will only read the first five lines

     12345
     \\SERVER1\C$\TEMP\BULL99.BBS
     255
     10
     15

;Line 1 Registration number

;Line 2 Path and name of bulletin to create. Supports UNC Paths as
well as standard DOS naming conventions.

;Line 3 Maximum number of plays allowed per day. (Max of 255)
Unregistered installations are only permitted 2 plays per day.

;Line 4 Number of questions permitted per play. Unregistered
installations are only permitted 12 questions per game.

;Line 5 Maximum time limit per question. (Default is 15 seconds)

Select wcConfig from the list of WC!5 utilities. Double Click on
wcMenu. Right click on the menu you wish to add the OLT to and select
add. Fill in the appropriate information. Choose a character to be used
for the Menu selection key. For Command Type, select "Run Wccode Program".
Select "Online Trivia" in the program box. In the parameter box place
the path to the directory that contains the door files. The trailing
backslash is optional.

Be sure to set the Access for the different Security Levels on your system.
No one will have access to the door until you set these options.

To insure proper operation on a network, drives must be mapped to
the same drive letter for each computer in the system.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SCORING:

Users get 7 points for each correct answer and lose 3 points for each
incorrect answer.

BONUS SCORING: Players are allowed a specific time limit for each
question. For each correct answer, players receive 1 BONUS point for
each second under the time limit. For instance, the Sysop has defined
a 15 second time limit per question. The user answers the question in 5
seconds. He will receive 7 points for the correct answer and 10 BONUS
points (15 seconds - 5 seconds). For each incorrect answer, a penalty
of 1 second will be assessed for each second over the maximum time limit
to a maximum penalty of 50 points per question.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On occasion, you may receive a message from OLT/32(c)
showing that it is from a User. The Door utilizes the User
name so that you will know who was in the door at the
time and had the problem. It is merely a debugging tool
for your use.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Updates:

Once you register one of the wcCode doors, updates are free as long as I own
the rights to the doors. Registration will get you a serial number that
will ONLY work with the 32-Bit door. It will NOT work with the DOS version.
If you have registered the DOS version of this door, you may switch to the
32-Bit line for $5.00. This will grant you license to run the 32-Bit as well
as the DOS version.
