Setting Up:

  Enter SF10CALL /? for help...

*NOTE: I am not sure how well this program works on MULTI line Spitfire
boards, so please let me know. It works GREAT on single line boards, for
sure!!! If you have any questions on setup, write "SHAREITSOF@aol.com"
  (no quotes).

*Unlike most other LAST 10 CALLERS programs, this program will show the
last 10 calls - exactly... if a caller calls TWICE IN A ROW, it will
say it (that is the way it SHOULD be)... This program will also rename
your CALLERS.LOG and SFNEWU.REP file each month, automatically!!

FIRST TIME SETUP ** MUST READ!!!
Upon running this program for the FIRST time, you must follow
these steps EXACTLY or unknown results may occur. Run SF10CALLS
from the command prompt with the following parameters:
          SF10CALL x:\work x:\display\filename /INSTALL /B BBS Name
example>> SF10CALL C:\WORK C:\SF\DISPLAY\WELCOME3 /INSTALL /B SHARE-IT BBS!
(DO NOT specify a extention on the 'filename' for display).
This will run SF10CALLS in the INSTALL mode with FULL directions
for you to follow.... DO EXACTLY AS IT ASKS!!! /INSTALL parameter
will create a work file called SF10CALL.WRK for use by SF10CALLS.
This file holds the last 10 callers (as will appear on the screen).

        /INSTALL parameter specified:
*Since this program was designed to read in the CALLERS.LOG file,
it was also designed to rename the CALLERS.LOG each month!! (It
will also rename the SFNEWU.REP for you)... Since this is your
first time running SF10CALLS, you do not want this months log's
renamed already, so a blank one for this month will be created.
*You must have specified the CORRECT Spitfire WORK path for this
program to be able to locate the CALLERS.LOG file. (INSTALL will
        ask you if you have).
*/INSTALL now will check your existing CALLERS.LOG file to
determine the number of calls. If you have had 10 or more, it
will list the last 10 calls to the SF10CALL.WRK file. If you DO
NOT have 10 calls in the CALLERS.LOG file, SF10CALLS will fill
in the blanks with a "NO CALLER" name on the screen (until you
have 10 calls in the CALLERS.LOG file - THIS ONLY HAPPENS THE
        FIRST TIME SF10CALLS IS RAN!).
*/INSTALL runs SF10CALLS again with the parameters you specified
before, only this time it does not use /INSTALL, it uses /A...

        /A parameter specified by INSTALL:
*/A means SF10CALLS will process ALL last 10 calls instead of
just the last call (like it normally does... this will be
        mentioned later).

        INSTALL ending in SUCCESSS:
*The next thing you will see it a BLUE status bar jumping back
and back again... this is processing your last 10 calls in the
CALLERS.LOG. A WHITE list appears with these names, their
logon time and date, node used, and graphics used (and an
asterisk (*) after that if they are a NEW CALLER).
*SF10CALLS now creates the 'filename' you specified easier in
CLR (ansi), BBS (ascii), and RIP formats. You will also notice
that it checks to see if the CALLERS.LOG and SFNEWU.REP file
need to be renamed (since a blank one was created before during
/INSTALL, it will NOT rename it until next month).

        INSTALL ending in COMPLETE FAILURE:
*!! If you encounter problems or erros upon using /INSTALL for
the FIRST time (or to reset the WRK file), try these solutions:
                > Delete SF10CALL.WRK file (DEL C:\SF\WORK\SF10CALL.WRK)
                > Renaming your CALLERS.LOG (or deleting it) so
SF10CALLS can start with a fresh one! (If this does
not seem to work, or errors pop up, create an empty
                  CALLERS.LOG in a TEXT editor).
*!! If there seems to be NO HOPE of you getting this to work,
leave a message to SHAREITSOF@aol.com (the software support
email address), or call SHARE-IT BBS! (be sure to tell EXACTLY
what happens and the error message displayed).

  Running SF10CALLS NORMALLY:
After the WRK file is created, there is no need to get ALL the
last 10 calls in order to fill in the data, anymore. Now all
you have to do is get the LAST CALL and use the other 9 stored
in the WRK file. To do this, run SF10CALLS with the NORMAL
        parameters:
          SF10CALL x:\work x:\display\filename /B BBS Name
example>> SF10CALL C:\WORK C:\SF\DISPLAY\WELCOME3 /B SHARE-IT BBS!
(DO NOT specify a extention on the 'filename' for display).

Running SF10CALLS NORMALLY, but omitting the SysOp name (or ONE name):
This does exactly the samething as above (NORMAL parameter), but
will leave off the SysOp's name if he is found as the caller
being processed by SF10CALLS. To omit the SysOp (or any other
name of your choose), you must follow this guideline... Since
Spitfire writes names with the first letter of each word
capitalized, and the rest lowercase, you must enter the name as
such (in other words, this parameter is CASE SENSITIVE)!
          SF10CALL x:\work x:\display\filename /S Sysop Name /B BBS Name
example>> SF10CALL C:\WORK C:\SF\DISPLAY\WELCOME3 /S Jim Mohr /B SHARE-IT BBS!
example>> SF10CALL C:\WORK C:\SF\DISPLAY\WELCOME3 /S Sysop /B SHARE-IT BBS!
(DO NOT specify a extention on the 'filename' for display).

Running SF10CALLS getting ALL LAST 10 CALLS (regardless):
This is NOT NORMALLY USED.. it was designed more for use by the
/INSTALL parameter above (as mentioned under "/A" above). This
paremter will read in the last 10 calls of the CALLERS.LOG file
(not just the last one, like it NORMALLY does). This prohibits
you from omitting the SysOp from the listing... This may be used
if the screen gets messed up or lost to recreate it. Otherwise
I see no purpose in you using the /A parameter (for useage,
        enter SF10CALL /?).

  /B parameter, explained:
This paramter allows you to OPTIONALLY enter your BBS name. If
you decide NOT to use /B, the name "THIS BBS" will display on
your screens. /B must be followed by a space and then your BBS
        name.

  /S parameter, explained:
This paramter allows you to OPTIONALLY omit the SysOp or ONE
SPECIFIED NAME from your Last 10 Calls screen. /S must be
followed by a space and then your SysOp name (CASE SENSITIVE,
        as stated above).

  Parameter overview:
Enter SF10CALL /? for an overview and complete parameter useage
examples. If you do nothing else READ THE INTERNAL HELP INDEX
BY ENTERING SF10CALL /? (or SF10CALL with NO PARAMETERS)!!!!!!
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT INDEX!
