Introduction
PDJump replaces the Searchlight subboard Jump command. It is a full
screen program that allows the user to move a cursor up and down to select
the subboard they want to jump to. It also allows the user to Join and
Unjoin subboards. In addition, it allows the user to 'CatchUp', or mark all
messages read in any subboard. PDJump will use any subboard ordering files
that are active. PDJump does not require a fossil driver because it uses
Searchlight's internal communications support. PDJump is shareware and can
be registered for as little as $20.

Execution
To run PDJump use the following command in any SL menu:

		pdjump.exe

Set communications support to "Standard", abort method to
"Terminate", and write protection to "No". PDJump searches for the
environment variable SLBBS. This must be set to your bbs directory. There
is an internal limit of 400 subboards that can be loaded at any one time. If
you have more than 400 subboards I suggest you break them up with list files.
Even 100 subboards is a lot to search through to find the one you want <G>.

Non-ANSI Users
PDJump no longer supports non-ANSI users. Searchlight BBS now
includes the capability to limit certain menu commands based on the users
ANSI status. I recommend using the internal Jump command for non-ANSI users
and PDJump for ANSI users. Not including non-ANSI support greatly reduces
the file size of PDJump and alows me more time to concentrate on other
things.

Faster Subboarding Reading
This version is compiled with the new SLTPUs for SLBBS v4.0 and
above. It includes faster routines to read the subboard data. It may work
with previous versions of SLBBS, but it has not been fully tested. I
strongly encourage everyone to upgrade to the latest version of SLBBS.

Guarantee
There is none. I do NOT guarantee what PDJump will do when run on
your system.

Address
I would appreciate anybody that uses PDJump to tell me what you
think about it. I monitor SL_SYSOP and SL_DOOR so you can send me an echo
message. My FIDO address is 1:123/60 and my SLNet address is 250:312/1561.
You can send me netmail at either of these addresses. My BBS is The
Searchlight Cafe at (901)324-2105. You can logon and send me mail. Also you
can FREQ a list of current PDome Software programs and utilities with the
keyword FILES.

Many Thanks
Many thanks to Frank Larosa for producing the greatest BBS program.
Also thanks to Frank for releasing his SearchLight Programmer's Library
units that helped create this program.
