Record Checker/Updater PPE
Copyright 1995 Herbert Bushong

Description
-----------

Record Checker checks a user's record at logon for missing information
in the ALIAS, ADDRESS, and VERIFICATION PSA's (only those that are
installed) and prompts the user to "fill in the blanks".
It can optionally force them to enter the information before being allowed
to continue logging on.

Copyright notice
----------------

Though the PPE is freeware, it is Copyrighted and if you use it, you are
subject to the copyright laws. I guarantee only that it will take up space
(but it works here and should for you <g>) and that is is trojan and backdoor
free.

Installation
---------
Extract all the files to a directory. In your Logon file, call the
PPE with !Filespec like this:
!d:\path\RECCHK.PPE

Files Used
---------
RECCHK.PPE - PPE file
RCDISP.LST - IMPORTANT-this is the list of display files.
You can change the names to use alternate file names
but the order is important. (explained later)
RCALIAS - Alias missing display file
RCVERIFY - Verification Information Missing display file
RCADDRS - Address information Missing display file
RCPRMPT - Prompts used with the Address information routines

Explanations
------------
All display files can have language and graphic specific files.
The prompt file can have language specific files. The file must have the
base name of RCPRMPT.
If you change the names from the default filename, make sure to change the
name in the RCDISP.LST file.
   This file is commented.

RCPRMPT file format
-----------------------
Street (1 of 2)
Street (2 of 2)
City
State
Zip Code
Country
Enter Line # to Edit

Lines 1-6 are self explanatory and are limited to 15 characters in length.
Line 7 is the choice prompt, do what you will with it :)

FORCE parameter
---------------

By default, the PPE will continue on if no information is entered,
but should you want to force the user to enter the information before
continuing , add the /FORCE parameter. Like so:

!d:\path\RECCHK.PPE /FORCE

That's all there is to it! If you want any changes, call my BBS and leave
a comment to me. If I can do it, I will. You can also find my other PPE's
on my BBS, in conference #5. Download on your first call.
