Issue #2 of 1999 (Publication #6)
     July 1999
------------------------------------------------

Welcome back to the BBS World Magazine, the only ezine directed towards
the BBS and OSP online community. If you do know of another one, I beg
you to contact me! :)

First off, we've got 2 sites now, one still at bwm.darktech.org, and
the other one is at thor.prohosting.com/~greenie/index3.htm, this one
uses frames. bwm.darktech.org does not use frames.

The Classifieds sections has become a hit now. I wish I could get this
to be done all automaticly, but unfortunately I am unable to program
such a program. :( Any volunteers? You'll see lots of new ad sections
with lots of ads. Everyone will have to re-submit their classified ad
for every issue, because there may be a board or something that doesn't
service anymore, or changes have been made and we/you do not want to
advertise dis-information.

As mentioned in our previous issue, we would be covering the Y2K issue,
well, I did not get very much support for the public, okay, I got only
1 person who sent me info on their product, Mystic BBS software. I am
disapointed that authors and sysops do not even know if their software
is y2k compliant or not. Com'n people, get with it. Send us the info
that you are bottling up inside of you. :) We of course could not just
leave it to the public, for obvious reasons, so, we went out and found
some helpful tid-bits here and there, check out our Y2K section for
more details.

Please, I want to hear your comments about this issue and about previous
issues of BWM. The best way to contact me is via email at
greenie@darktech.org.
