(July 1999)

For those new readers of BWM, we are a FREEWARE e-zine which gets
published quarterly (every 3 months). We try to cover all BBS/OSP
related news from the past 3 months. Most news we get from the
prime sources or from other BBS/OSP News searchers/reporters.

BBS World Magazine is an amateur electronic magazine.

This is an ezine which freely expresses peoples views on any topic
to this nature. No restictions, no messages have been modified, nor
is credit removed or addition false credit added. We try to record
events by collecting data seen around the BBS community and
place them within the ezine. We also take submisions, please contact
us if you wish to add something into the ezine.

Articles are gathered via any ALT.BBS.* public domain newsgroups,
public domain echoes, such as every echo in BWMnet, as well in every
email list that we are a part of which are in the public domain.
These articles be it good or bad, concerning everything from
BBS software developement to "death of BBSing". But, of course with
this e-zine, BBSing is still well and very alive. We are seeing new
styles of the culture of BBSing as well.

Please FEEL FREE to use any or ALL the articles within the ezine
for your personal use. Meaning, you could put some of the more
interesting articles in your BBS section of your board, you know the
section for bulletins, the section which is probably empty now.

Also, please FEEL FREE to put this issue of BWM as well previous
issues of BWM available for download from your BBS section on your
board so users can download it at no extra cost (if your system
charges in any way).

Of course if you have ANY article, news, comments, ads, or even
advertisments of your network or BBS/OSP, please check out the BWM
web page under the classifieds department.

                        Thank-you
                          Joel Gathercole,
                          Chief editor and publisher
