People can find files aplenty on the web, but I think that if you were
to subscribe to FidoNet's filebone, you could get lots of the *latest*
programs.  That is a service that can't be offered on the Web.

Since people can telnet to Ny as easily as they can telnet to CA,
without any toll charges, message networks start to loose some of their
meaing.  I mean, I can go to Joe's Telnet BBS and read the fidonet
messages, and I can go to Zed's Telnet BBS and read the same fidonet
messages.  What's the point of that?  My suggestion would be to have
plenty of NON-NETWORKED message areas.  Only messages threads that can
be found only on your BBS.
