Shadow Realms - A Travel Through the Forgotten Lands
----------------------------------------------------
You enter a land of adventure, a land of courage, a land of strange
power and a land of strange creatures. Starting with just the barest
of equipment you enter the world. Do you have what it takes to
survive?

In recent years, the multi-user dungeon has only been available on
commercial networks like CompuServe, GEnie, and the internet. Now,
thanks to a year of development we are pleased to announce the product
Shadow Realms--the first multiuser dungeon for FALKEN BBS.

What is a MUD? A MUD is really more of a software expierence than it
is a game in the tradional sense. In this computer created universe
you strive for fame, fortune and power, but you are not alone. Your
human friend may well be an evil mage who has decided that he will rule
a section of the city and that you are to pay hommage to him!

There are taverns to drink in, a community bulletin board, shops to buy
things from. There are even places in which you can get work! There
are guilds to train in and lots of wondering creatures. You can explore
the city of Kierkswold or venture into the sewers beneath the city. Hey,
you can even take a trip to Pleasant Pointe Acres and see if you can
quell the crime that is rampant there!

What does this mean to you as a SysOp? Most pay systems generate income
based on the amount of time a user is online. Shadow Realms will engross
your players in a virtual world that time seems to pass in a flash. You
knew when you chose FALKEN there was a reason. You knew that its multitasking
powers would ultimately pay off. Now it has. Shadow Realms would NOT be
possible if it were not for the powerful C-Switch engine in FALKEN BBS.

Shadow Realms will captivate your users, and may finally retire Warlords
as your users game of choice. Shadow Realms is $95 and is scheduled for
release December 1st, 1993. If you would like to see a demonstration of
the current Beta, I would encourage you to log onto Pacific Horizons at
(206) 630-2590, Horseman's BBS @ (517) 769-2230 or the Springboard at
(401) 232-0296. Since this is a very sophisticated game it is our thought
that a demonstration should be best done on a system with it already
installed and user base that can 'help' you understand what is going on.
It is truly like nothing you have ever seen.

Shadow Realms requires FALKEN 6.65b (or later) and a 224k Page Frame.
