Once an echo is created, the resultant listings provide a kind of catalog of available echos, in one place, where anyone could "shop" and see what's available. The sorted and unsorted lists in the Fidogazette are pretty good too. The only other thing lacking from a user's pov is *where* an echo could be requested.
