Yes I remember those, but this is the area to request established areas to be
added to the background.  Since these echoes are long defunct you may want to
go to a sysop chat echo like FN_SYSOP and see if there is any interest in
that.

A lot of topics have been concentrated into other echoes.  You may want to
subscribe to MEMORIES and discuss train stuff there.  That area would welcome
the discussion and if it gets going pretty well then you can spin off a
railroad echo.

Unfortunately there's not as many people left in fidonet... and we have
always had our trolls... trust me, we have the same trolls of old and because
we don't have as many participants the trolls seem to be louder than ever
(especially in the sysop and political areas).

DO NOT let anyone stifle you Al, this is what we need to get fidonet going
again.  USENET is having a comeback and I will be happy to look at what
railroad areas I can gate in for you.  You are welcome to pick up what I can
come up with here from me.
