I agree, I don't want Fidonet and Usenet combined.  They are two separate 
networks and remained the same.  One main issue I've had over the years with 
Usenet is so much spam.  Fidonet has been a great network and has never needed 
to be joined with another network to be successful.  There are free Usenet (for 
now) news servers out there that are separate from ISPs that are available.  I 
cannot believe there are already 20+ newsgroups already in the process of being 
added.  I don't mind SysOps adding their own message area from time to time but 
this is too much.
