As much as I love Linux, it will never become popular because, quite frankly, a majority of the computer users these days are not smart enough nor do they want to know how to do anything themselves on their computer under the hood. That's why there's a captive audience for Microsoft products even as badly written as they are. In the same breath, however, I made a career out of wiping Windows' ass so I can't complain. About the only reason I'd want a Windows box these days is for gaming but even that is becoming narrowed thanks to things like Steam though there is still a very wide gap in that respect. -- Sean ....
