this is definitely one instance where having the index reader grouping the
areas by group would be very nice... in fact, it could do both or one or the
other depending on how james decides to do the coding for it if he accepts
the challenge ;)

i started to suggest just switching the code to use the defined group
assignments but then realized that grouping by address as current and then
subgrouping by assigned group would be nice in some cases, too...

FWIW: i think that this was also brought up in the past but perhaps the
example given wasn't all that good... i dunno and i don't recall it i brought
it up or if tess or someone else did...
