ign and I spoke about it on IRC to try ot figure out what was going on. Turns
out it's actually an openSUSE specific kind of issue where they default sudo
to always_set_home, so by him running sudo as his bbs user to run mis to get
root to bind, $HOME would change to /root instead of remaining where it was. 

That was one of a few problems anyway. :)
